History

The Longley Cricket Club has been around for a long time. Operating in the early days as the Sandfly Football and Cricket Club, we changed our name to the Longley Cricket Club and adopted the Bunyip as our club logo.

The image on the left shows our players and clubrooms circa 1936. We are proud of our long history, and we're actively seeking old photographs and information about the club and players from our past.

Darris Fenton Memorial Day 2007

Most Longley supporters would know that 'The Fenton Stand' is named after one our club greats, Darris Fenton. Please have a look at some photos below of the Darris Fenton memorial day from 2007.

This day also saw the presentation of a lost cricket listing of the A Grade “Premiers” Team, in which Darris was Captain.
